Below are ways you can give to support the ministry and mission of Parkside along with information about our giving funds.
Give By Check
Checks can be made out to Parkside Baptist Church and given on Sunday mornings or mailed to 1515 Clermont Rd, Durham, NC 27713.
Please put the fund(s) to which you'd like to contribute in the memo line.
Give Online
One-time and recurring donations can be made online by credit card, debit card, or ACH.
While there is a processing fee, an option is available to offset those costs.
Stock Donations &
Donor Advised Funds
Parkside can receive gifts of stock as well as gifts from donor advised funds.
Our Funds
Below are the funds that fuel the mission at Parkside.
General Fund
The General Fund at Parkside is our operating budget, supporting the church's mission to make disciples who obey the great commandments and fulfill the great commission. While short term mission trips, certain benevolence needs, and some facility items are supported by other funds, the budget is the primary fund supporting the ministries of the church.
Think of the General Fund first for your regular tithes and offerings.
Great Commission Fund
The Great Commission Fund at Parkside is used to support short-term missions trips, missionary support, church planting, and to provide for other great commission efforts.
Good Neighbor Fund
The Good Neighbor Fund at Parkside is used to care for members of the church and our community as needs arise. Meeting benevolence needs, supporting community partners, and assisting with adoption and foster care are types of expenses that would come from the Good Neighbor Fund.
Facilities Fund
The Facilities Fund at Parkside is used to support repairs, maintenance, and other improvements to our facility. As we look to the future, the facilities fund may also be used to invest in new facilities as the Lord leads.
Why We Give
The aim of our lives is to glorify God, and He has entrusted us with time, energy, and financial resources to be spent for the sake of the gospel and the advance of His kingdom. As stewards of His grace, it's our desire to see everything through the lens of eternity, giving of ourselves with joyful anticipation of hearing the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant...enter into the joy of your master"
(Matthew 25:21).
We sacrificially give of ourselves as an act of worship (Romans 12:1-2), knowing that any good thing we enjoy has been given from the hand of God (James 1:17). When we offer our money, time, and energy to the Lord, we do so by faith, trusting in His promises and provision as we joyfully surrender whatever He asks in obedience to Christ. As a result, giving helps set our mind on eternal, spiritual realities, and frees us from the unsatisfying idols of the of the world that would compete for our affections (Matthew 6:19-21).
